We are inviting applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates who are passionate about transforming lives in the society, to fill the position of:

1) RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS – SME & INSTITUTIONAL BANKING – HR/06/01/17

Reporting to the Head of SME & Institutional Banking, the position is responsible for business growth of SMEs, Institutions and Church portfolio by working very closely with the other relationship managers and branch managers, both in deposits & Assets (MoUs).

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a) To recruit business accounts, Churches, institutions and ensure they are funded and operated well.
b) To grow deposits by carrying out direct deposit mobilization activities and initiatives targeting SME businesses, churches and Institutions.
c) Increase the market share of SMEs, Institutions and Churches in terms of customer numbers, products and service consumption and revenues while proactively reducing the non-performing loan book.
d) To drive transactional income from SMEs, churches and other institutions through effective customer service and cross selling the entire range of banking products and services.
e) Grow low and stable deposits through effective value chains and MOUs.
f) To act as the main Relationship manager for all SME, churches and Institutions customers and to work closely with these customers for the mutual benefit of both the customer and
the bank.
g) To cross sell other accounts to the existing customers.
h) To ensure at 95% retention of the SMEs, churches & Institutions.
i) Appraise, review, validate and process customer credit applications in a timely manner.
j) Maintain a quality loan book and agreed SLAs

Key Qualities & Competencies

. Minimum of 3 years banking experience, some of which must have been spent performing a similar role in a leading commercial Bank.
. Have excellent negotiation, sales and marketing skills
. Strong customer centric skills
. Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
. Good communication skills
. Self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook
. Must have a clear focus on high quality and business profit
. Able to get on with others and be a team-player with excellent interpersonal skills
. Between 33 to 42 years of age
Qualifications

. Undergraduate university degree in Business related field. Professional qualifications in Marketing, Accounting or Credit Management will be an
added advantage
. Must be adept in ICT
