Reports to: Food and Beverage manager
Specific Responsibilities:
• Assisting the FBM with the smooth and organised running of all departments according to the Standards set by the management
• Achievement of Financial Goals in Revenue, Expenses and Profits.
• Participates in the elaboration of the Hotel’s FB standards and procedures. Is directly responsible of their implementation and respect from the team members.
• Adopts a hands on approach to operations, be visible and monitor staff to achieve optimum results.
• Builds teamwork and enhance the team’s commitment to their work and the hotel.
• Communicates effectively within the organization at all levels using the most appropriate communication method for the matter concerned.
• Monitors the personnel of these operations to ensure guest receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition.
• Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform
• Perform other hotel-related duties as required.
Job Specification:
• Diploma or degree in food and beverage from an accredited university or college
• 2 years’ experience as a restaurant manager in a four star or five star hotel.
• Supervisory skills
• Understand the hotel operating systems e.g. Fidelio Material controls e.t.c
Position:Sales manager
Specific Responsibilities:
• Functions as the leader of the Sales & Marketing department for the hotel with bookings of 96 peak rooms and significant local catering, recreation and conference revenue.
• Evaluates the Hotel’s participation in the various sales channels (e.g., National and County Government, Corporates, Travel Agents, Family e.t.c.
• Develops strong working relationships to proactively position and market the Hotel.
• Manages the marketing budget to enable development of specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet the Hotel’s objectives.
• Develops and implements the Hotel’s strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer profile provides a return on investment to the hotel
• Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Researches competitor’s sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and increase market share
• Attends sales and marketing strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy.
• Initiates innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share
• Searches for new markets to enhance hotel’s revenue
• Perform other hotel-related duties as required.
Job Specification:
• At least degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing,Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major;
• 4 years’ experience in the sales or related professional area.
• Demonstrated skills in supervising a team.
• Working knowledge of computers
Position:Sales account manager
Specific Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible to developing long-term relationships with customer and overseeing sales.
• You will be required to respond to customer queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience.
• communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships
• contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
• Building the brand
• evaluating marketing campaigns;
• monitoring competitor activity;
• Supporting the marketing manager and other colleagues.
