*VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE POST OF SACCO OFFICER*
Uadili Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited (Uadili SACCO) is an up-coming, fast growing, and licensed institution, and is looking for a dependable, innovative, and hard-working individual to take up the responsibility of being the face of Uadili SACCO at its front office.
Reporting to the Chairman of the Board of Directors the job holder will be responsible for the smooth running of the branch functionally and administratively.
o KCSE Grade C or its equivalent;
o CPA II or Diploma in Cooperative Business / Micro Finance Management;
o Certified Credit Management will be an added advantage;
o Proficiency in computer skills;
o Previous experience of working with a SACCO system is preferred;
o Minimum two (2) years relevant experience; and
o A person of integrity, a team player and with effective communication skills.
o Attending to customers and handling customers’ correspondences.
o Effecting customer queries and instructions.
o Appraising and advising members on loan eligibility.
o Coordinating the loan processing activity at the office.
o Advising members on loan approval status.
o Ensuring completeness of loan application forms and adequacy of information provided.
o Ensuring compliance of loan procedures as per SASRA and other legal requirements.
o Generating loan appraisal reports using computer programs to evaluate members’ financial status, and for the Directors.
o Implementing and promoting Society products and services.
o Placement of Standing Orders.
o Updating list of standing orders, direct credits, and any other forms of remittances.
o Carrying out funds transfer instructions.
o Receiving and issuing application forms and handling deduction adjustments.
o Maintaining timely, accurate and balanced records.
o Ensuring that correspondences are promptly and appropriately tackled and that issues pertaining to customer care are competently handled.
o Handling any other duty that may be assigned by supervisors.
