Roles for the Merchandiser Team Leaders Job
Develop route plan and ensure Merchandisers follow it as they visit the assigned stores
Assist in negotiation of shelf space and shelf display
In charge of POS placement in the outlets as per Initiative booklet objectives
Ensure that each product in the store have the correct shelf label by the Merchandisers in the various outlets
Ensure that Merchandisers arrange wobblers on the selected products
Staying aware of how competitors are performing
Ensure Merchandisers maintain store shelves by observing displays of company products; removing damaged or freshness-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum display of products.
Align and abide with the store’s policies when receiving, storing and shelving products
Comply information by reporting growth, expansion, or closing of supermarkets in assigned territory.
Completes call report by observing display and pricing of competitors’ products.
Establish and maintain good relations with customers, shop assistant, store supervisor and store managers
Reporting any issues or difficulties encountered while executing your duties in all the outlets
Merchandiser Team Leaders Job Qualifications
KCSE certificate C+ and above
College training
Diploma in Sales & Marketing degree preferred
Three (3) years basic selling experience preferably in FMCG, one (1) of which must have been in a supervisory position
