ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Key responsibilities include:
Giving technical advice/guidance to teammates and students
Conducting regular ICT training sessions to teammates especially joiners
Responding to helpdesk tickets within laid out IT SLA timelines
Troubleshooting and regular inspection of printers, routers, switches, CCTV cameras, access, points and computer hardware and software components
Providing technical support to teachers during technology aided lessons and/or tests
Maintain and adhere to an up to date maintenance schedule for printers, computers, routers, switches, access points and CCTV cameras
Performing regular hardware and software upgrades on teammate and student laptops to maintain optimum performance levels
Managing and tracking of all tech assets
- You have a diploma/degree in an IT related field OR a minimum of 2 years technical experience. Experience in IT support is an added advantage.
You have a passion for a career in technology
You are able to demonstrate competence and comfort with PC/Linux/Mac based computer systems
You have strong organizational skills and can handle many projects at the same time with minimal supervision
You are always putting yourself in other people’s shoes—your natural empathy, curiosity, and people-reading skills help you understand your team and students/customers better than most people around you
You have proficient knowledge in computer networks and can troubleshoot network related issues
