Job Description
Our client is a well established textile company in the manufacturing sector with operations across East Africa. They now seek to recruit a dynamic, exceptional and visionary leader with good professional and ethical standing to fill the position of the General Manager, Corporate Services.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate the formulation of administrative policies, systems and procedures for the organization;
- Establish and maintain sound financial, human resource, administrative, ICT procedures in compliance with statutory regulations;
- Participate in the preparation of Strategic plans;
- Provide technical guidance on matters Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Administration, ICT, Sales and Marketing and Strategy and Planning;
- Co-ordination of directorate activities by providing responsible advice and counsel to the Company;
- Management and coordination of Financial Services;
- Prepare Board and Management/Statutory reports;
- Co-ordinate recruitment, deployment, remuneration, staff performance, development and discipline of human resources;
- Management of assets and services to support each core functions in administration/logistics requirements to facilitate service delivery;
- Co-ordinate information exchange with all stakeholders and the public to ensure customer expectations are met;
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business related field such as (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Human Resource Management/Development, Computer Science, Public Administration or any other equivalent from a recognized University).
- Must have a Master’s degree in any of the following fields: Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Management/Development, Computer Science, Public Administration or any other equivalent from a recognized University.
- Must have at least ten (10) years cumulative work experience, five (5) of which should have been at Managerial level in a reputable organization.
- Certificate in leadership course not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Must be compliant with the provisions of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya and avail clearance certificate from KRA, HELB, EACC, CRB and Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Must be a member of a professional body and in good standing.

- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) – Tax Compliance
- Higher Education Loans Board – (HELB)
- Ethics and Anti – Corruption Commission (EACC)
- Credit Reference Bureau ( CRB)
