We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Business Development Executive to help us build up our business. The role of the Business Development Executive is to assist the organizations sales and growth efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about the industry and competitor activity. Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.

The primary role and responsibilities of the Business Development Executive include but are not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the sales strategy for the company.
  • Understand and convey complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level and provide solutions that translate into business for the company.
  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Identify growing market, emerging market, untapped market etc., and develop ways of tapping into the identified market segments.
  • The ability to pitch and close the business.
  • Identifying the right prospect and targeting the right offering.
  • Fully implement ways to increase sales and retain customers and develop and implement schemes aimed at building customer loyalty.
  • Keep prospective client database updated.
  • Make cold calls for new business leads.
  • Support in writing new business proposals.
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients.
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders.
  • Identify growing market, emerging market, untapped market etc., and develop ways of tapping into the identified market segments.

Competencies and Skills Required:

  • Degree in Marketing or related course.
  • Must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Aged 26 – 35 years.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must have good negotiation skills.
  • Must be able to create good presentations.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and an active listener.
  • Ability to work under pressure
