In this position you will be responsible for IT-related support issues within Text Book Center. This will include but not limited to managing, maintaining, and repairing IT systems.
You must be a great communicator by being able to be training less technically savvy colleagues in security procedures in a way a layman would understand.

Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks.

Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues.

Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances.

Performing system upgrades following new releases.

Maintaining internal documentation

Performing account setup
-
Be responsible for device and password management
-
Perform both hardware and software support
-
Resolve issues escalated by support team
-
Lead IT support team
-
Ensure data is handled, transferred, or processed according to company guidelines
-
Provide support and guidance to help desk team
-
Bachelor of information technology or IT related degree
-
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role

Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
-
Must have MCSE
-
CCNA
-
A+ certification
-
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
-
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
-
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
-
Excellent communication skills
