Responsibilities
- Build and ship industry-leading healthcare products
- Build beautiful user interfaces and user experiences on the frontend, and efficient, scalable backend solutions
- Work with the lead developer and the Chief Information Officer to develop the technical vision for the projects
- Design and build beautiful UI and interactive UX designs
- Help make high-level technical decisions
- Assist with backend development in Python
- Assist with DevOps where necessary
- Be a coding chameleon! Able to help with a wide range of engineering tasks, and able to learn new languages, frameworks and systems with ease.
- Write clean code, effective documentation and follow best industry practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math or other technical degree. Equivalent professional experience is also sufficient
- 3+ years of experience in technical role
- Experience developing and shipping production-level software
- Proven experience working with JavaScript
- Experience building and designing secure, robust and efficient back-end applications with Python
- Ability to pick up new languages, frameworks and system easily
- Ability to build simple, beautiful front-end interfaces with react.js a plus
- Experience building software systems for healthcare a plus
