MPESA Foundation Academy – Dining Hall Cleaner.

Under the supervision of the Dining room supervisor, this position is responsible for cleaning at the catering department.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning of kitchen, dining room, aluminum doors, Hand washing sinks, Glass windows and the pathways.

• Responsible for clearing of kitchen refuse, cleaning of dustbins and cleaning drainage ducts in the kitchen.

• Responsible for refilling of hand paper towels, tissues and soap dispensers.

• Cleaning of the Washrooms.

• Arranging and cleaning of the cleaner’s store, trolleys and mops.

• Perform any other duty assigned by line manager.

• Placing and replacement of sorting labels on dustbins

• Cleaning the surroundings of the catering block.

Persons qualifications

• Certificate in Cleaning and sanitation training from recognized institution.

• At least 1 year’ experience working in a comparable institution.

• Demonstrated experience in handling the chemicals used in cleaning and sanitation at the catering operation.

• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate courteously.
