Job Title – Senior Research Executive

Location – Nairobi, Kenya

Role Description

Join a team that deals largely with brand tracking doing the following:

  • Ensure the smooth running of research projects from start to completion
  • Build a strong day to day working relationship with the clients
  • Add value by continually building your technical expertise as a market researcher and apply it to the work you do for your clients
  • Manage a mini-team of junior researchers
  • Business development

Work mainly unsupervised and produce for sign off by line manager

  • Proposals and budgets
  • Reports and Presentations decks
  • Designing of research tools e.g. questionnaires
  • Fieldwork materials e.g. briefing notes
  • Data/Coding specs
  • Point of views

Manage the following processes/ duties mainly unsupervised

  • Manage multiple projects
  • Project deadlines / prioritise work appropriately and logically
  • Costs and resource management
  • Day to day project management
  • Liaise with other departments – operations, finance
  • Identify actions/issues that may have cost implications
  • Problem solving/trouble shooting
  • Presentations to clients

Role Requirements

  • Completed tertiary education – degree in Marketing or Statistics
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in the research industry
  • Excel & PowerPoint proficiency
