Kenya Sales Manager

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Sales Planning: Develop and implement BURN’s growth strategy for in all channels. Major goal is to grow Sales to penetrate the early mass market at >30% market penetration. Develop and execute plans to expand Numeric and Weighted distribution in all channels. Drive activation strategy across Kenya to grow sales/channels/specific distributors; help launch new products through activated sales; help develop activation strategy that will help grow new sales channels.
  • Relationship Management: Be the primary contact person for existing wholesale clients of BURN. Regularly meet with clients to strengthen relationships, introduce new products, and grow client’s monthly sales. Continuously strengthen BURN’s relationship with senior management team of clients.
  • Consult Client on Business Strategy: Work with clients on their business strategy to increase sales BURN products. Consult your clients on their distribution methods, expansion strategy, route-to-market, margins, staff training, incentive programs, and more.
  • Measurement & Analysis: Consistently track sales performance, measure and analyze your monthly sales projections versus actuals sales, perform ROI analysis, use data to determine sales strategy.
  • Marketing Support: Work closely with BURN Marketing team and clients to develop and execute joint marketing plans to help grow client sales.
  • Account Collections / AR Management: Negotiate payment terms with clients, & collecting on outstanding invoices.
  • Team Management: Manage Sales team including Channel Sales Executives, Activators and Activator Managers and other Commercial Staff as the team grows. 

 

Degree qualifications
