We currently have an exciting career opportunity for Wellness Coordinator, Jubilee Health Insurance Limited. The position holder will report to the Head of Wellness and will be based at Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose
Coordinating and implementing Wellness activities for the company. Conducting Health Talks, Implementing Wellness schedules & Medical camps, Implementing Chronic Disease Management programs and Communicating Disease Awareness to clients.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Support and coordinate the chronic disease management program model of care.
  2. Coordinate the implementation of follow-up plans post-discharge for chronic disease clients to the program.
  3. Coordinate a database of statistics and narratives for tracking progress and efficacy of treatments and chronic disease program outcomes.
  4. Coordinate, enrol and support the Jubilee Mum’s Wellness Club to achieve the set objectives.
  5. Improve business retention by engaging & communicating disease awareness, health conferences and wellness initiatives.
  6. Support initiative in the wellness loyalty card program.
  7. Analyse ailment reports for loss-making schemes and offer disease prevention interventions.
  8. Develop and manage a new business product that covers the wellness needs of Jubilee Insurance clients to enable them to access services within the wellness eco-system.
  9. Give special focus to wellness initiatives as a channel to increase business revenues and retention.
  10. Liaise and collaborate with other relevant clinical specialist services within the country, primary healthcare and other stakeholders in the public, non-governmental and private sectors, as well as consumers, in relation to the coordination of care of clients with chronic diseases.
  11. Resolve customer complaints and concerns within an acceptable turnaround time of 24 hours.
  12. Interacting with clients, brokers and clinicians as needed, to resolve problems in a manner that is legal, ethical, and consistent with the principles of the policy.
  13. Support Call Center staff by coordinating wellness initiatives, training, and escalation processes relating to the Company wellness programs.
  14. Working with the digital team to support the online platforms for wellness initiatives.
  15. Participate in member education and training to clients on the various programs in the business.
  16. Support in business acquisition and renewal meetings.
  17. Administration and management of the wellness department and lead wellness team meetings.
  18. Fraud detection and reporting to the relevant authorities.

Qualifications

  1. Degree or Diploma in Clinical Studies (Nursing/Nutrition/Deities) or any other related degree.
  2. Course in Health Education will be an added advantage.
  3. Basic Understanding of the Concepts of Insurance.
  4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Packages.

Relevant Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
