MRM Mariakani is seeking to recruit a suitable individual to work as a Dispatch Clerk in the Supply Chain Department. The position reports to the Supply Chain Officer
Overall Purpose of the Position
Responsible for efficient logistics related to exports and upcountry dispatches, related documentation and compliance.
•Liase with planning and operations team and transporters for trucks planning or placement for exports and upcountry dispatches
•Monitor truck movements until the orders are delivered to customers
•Liase with clearing Agents for boarder clearance and truck exit
•Generate Delivery Notes, Gate Passes, Loading Slips, Invoices and other dispatch related documents as per the STOs quantity / requested requirement from customer in SAP.
•Liase with customer for documentation support, timely clearance of documents and dispatch from point of origin
•Establish and maintain an effective filling system for easy reference and retrieval
•Ensure full compliance with policies, regulations and ISO process flow
•Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly and requested reports on time
•Proactively address and resolve any dispatch issues that arise.
•Continously research, share and keep updated information on best efficient loading and dispatch practises
•A Business Diploma from a recognized institution
•At least 3 years working experience in a similar work environment.
•Experience with ERP programs preferably SAP
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
