Job Purpose

To ensure Maua Business achieves its goal in target areas. These include: area zoning, recruitment, development and retention of entrepreneurs, ensuring adequate stock levels, daily monitoring/supervision of entrepreneurs’ activities and providing feedback. Further tasks focus on Identifying opportunities, developing relationships and supporting overall business success in the area

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Zoning and opening up new areas for geographic expansion
  • Recruitment and retention of : Up lifters and Hawkers, Stock points, Recruitment of Partners.
  • Training and Development.
  • Lead local operations.
  • Reporting.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Monthly Share-Outs.
  • Entrepreneur Payments and incentives.
  • Business Representation.

Education And Background

Degree in entrepreneurship, business administration, social science or any other relevant studies


People skills and exposure to a business or sales environment. Further, experience in an impact investment sector, NGOs with a business focus like social enterprises, MFIs, conservation enterprises, Business Membership Organizations etc.
