The team you’ll be part of

As Nokia’s growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible. The Operations Director role would be part of the CCS business unit , MEA Market Operations Delivery organization . The role would manage a team of Operations professionals who would be managing the network & service operations for a Nokia customer in Ethiopia. Operations would have the entire Nokia core stack hosted on a cloud environment along with Radio access & IP transport layer designed for the full country.

As part of our team, you will:

Be the Prime Customer SPOC for the head of Operations / CTO for any network operations related matters including managing any critical escalations .

  • Be part of the key member of the Delivery leadership team for the account .
  • Be responsible for the whole Managed Services organizational Leadership, Org. Development & Employee Motivation
  • Have the responsibility of the full Managed Services P&L for the account .

Will be the one of the Core members in the MEA Cloud & Cognitive Services

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Bachelor in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Information Systems
  • More than 15-year experience in Telecom industry.
  • Prior experience in handling operations as an Operations Director / lead.

It would be nice if you also had:

  •  Fluency in oral & written communications
  •  Collaboration & Teamwork
