We are looking for a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent opportunity.
Role Purpose
The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for delivering the tactical aspects of the customer contract within the Strategic Partnerships division. The purpose of the CRM is to build strong relationships and ensure a positive customer experience. To retain contracts, increase growth and profitability as well as promote the usage of services provided by LP to their portfolio of customers.
Role Specifics

  • Ensuring customer KPI’s are delivered and portfolio is effectively managed, identifying areas to maximise profitability including the management of schedule updates and formal extensions.
  • Fully embed and adopt the usage of Amplify and its reporting and analytics capabilities to maximise performance of the portfolio
  • Work as part of a joined up team with the Account Director to deliver the Strategic Account Plan
  • Responsible for operational delivery of key strategic contracts and demonstrating value to the customer
  • Ensure customer KPI’s are delivered and portfolio is effectively managed, identifying areas to maximise profitability inc. the management of schedule update and formal extensions.
  • Build relationships between customers and support teams – making it easier for customers to solve problems and assist in bringing leading edge thinking and best practice
  • Be the voice of the customer – responsible for advocating their customer’s needs and effectively communicating this across the business
  • Identify opportunities to develop usage of ancillary services.
  • Create, embed and regularly review operational processes to increase the efficiency of LP and its provided services.
  • Regular face to face involvement with the client as well as service suppliers as appropriate.
  • Strict management of any commercial loadings applied to specific contracts.
  • Responsible for overseeing the preparation of customer reviews and delivering on time with the relevant Account Director, as appropriate.
  • Responsible for forecasting and delivering against portfolio targets.
  • Make recommendations to clients and/or Account Director as appropriate on ways to maximise client/account profitability.
  • Keep abreast of market conditions and specific industry changes
  • Overall responsibility for securing credit for the portfolio.
  • Work closely with New Business to successfully implement new contract signings.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills required
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Strong solutions based selling experience within a business to business environment
  • In-depth knowledge of key activities within client service/customer service function
  • Ability to recognise profitable opportunities within existing accounts
  • Proven track record of developing internal and external networks via relationship management techniques
  • Experience of providing creative and innovative solutions for clients
  • Able to demonstrate a proven track record of significant achievement and continuous improvement
  • Able to demonstrate strong presentation skills that are tailored to the needs of the audience
  • Experience of identifying, leading and coordinating virtual teams
  • Ability to apply a systematic and structured approach when managing a client change
  • Fluent in business English language – written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of core Microsoft applications (Word and Excel).
  • Full understanding of relevant LeasePlan products, processes and systems.
  • Experience of actively participating in a team environment, whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently.
