Business Process Re-engineering Specialist
The Business Process Re-engineering Specialist is responsible for leading continuous improvement, across the Group, through the application of process improvement and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization and manage automation projects.
The responsibilities will include the development of modern business methods, identifying best practices, creating, and assessing process performance measurements, and striving for continuous improvement.
The role is responsible for effective transitioning of the changes through project activities and objectives.
The role identifies process improvement opportunities, applies lean principles to redesign the target business processes, develops, and manages the processes for measuring the efficiency and effectiveness of services provided through the digital and physical channels.
(Master’s Degree in Information Systems or related field will be an added advantage)
5- 10 years’ experience in Process Re-engineering and Automation
❖ Detailed understanding of the BPM mapping and automation
❖ Detailed experience in the banking industry with emphasis on
Digital Banking (CASA, Credit, Trade Finance, Operations)
❖ Detailed and proven experience in Agile development
environment with specific familiarity with SCRUM
❖ Strong organisational and planning skills
❖ Ability to articulate business impact of changes
❖ Strong strategic thinking with a practical mindset
❖ Results driven

❖ Has managed functional processes and policies and/or projects in a financial institution

3. Manage Changes
❖ Ensure a healthy working relationship between team and all other departments in terms of system functionality and business processes in the bank. Front and back-end and all processes in between need to be considered.
❖ Ensure the processes and systems used adhere to Industry standards and compliance rules
❖ Provide constant feedback on status of changes to be implemented
❖ Ensure all changes are implemented on time and the operational impact has been assessed and properly catered for4. Project Management
❖ Ability to coordinate delivery of work activities
❖ Prepare programme schedules, design execution life cycles, identify and manage associated risks
❖ Design the standards of quality assurance, review the test results and measure solution fit
❖ Ensure all changes are signed off as per the timelines agreed with IT
❖ Manage changes to be deployed and ensure that the relevant access has been allocated to the team to perform tests on the day of the deploy

7. Prioritization and Escalation
❖ Ensure that changes are communicated and prioritized within the business as well as the team
❖ Attend prioritization meetings with IT and the business
