The Position:

To generate foreign exchange revenue from KCB customer base through negotiation of exchange rates, acquiring and managing new client relationships as well as providing Treasury solutions for the existing clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-activation of dormant FX business from clients who have accounts with KCB.
  • New to Bank acquisition of Importers and Exporter-Profitably winning business from competition.
  • Opening of accounts for new clients.
  • Pro-active Relationship management of clients in portfolio.
  • Periodic client events to appreciate clients as well as update on recent local and global market developments and the impact these have to their business in terms of currency movement.
  • Onboarding clients to ibank to increase efficiency in service delivery.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Drive and monitor performance of sectors under management.
  • Direct sales and marketing through telephone calls with existing clients and new prospects.
  • Manage existing clients’ expectations in regard to foreign exchange and other related services
  • Make physical visits to both existing and prospective customers
  • Manage and input entries as a result of foreign exchange transactions

Job Requirements:

For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an Institution recognized by CUE
  • Possession of ACI Certificate is added advantage
  • 3 years’ experience in Retail Sales and Relationship Management covering a portfolio of Micro and SME Clientele
  • Sound knowledge of Treasury products and services in Banking Industry with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills; persuasive with corporate presence.
