Requirement for Appointments

For appointment to this scale, an officer MUST have:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Supplies Management or a Procurement related field, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
  2. Proficiency in computer applications skills; and
  3. Diploma in Procurement related area
  4. Satisfy the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities 

The Supply Chain Officer will report to the Manager, Supply Chain and will be responsible for the following:

  1. Receive issue and maintain store inventory;
  2. Forward invoices to accounts department for payments;
  3. Handle cash (low value) procurements;
  4. Maintain procurement records;
  5. Ensure safe custody of stores; and
  6. Any other duty as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Candidates must submit the following documents alongside application

  1. Police Clearance (Certificate of good conduct);
  2. Duly executed self-declaration form from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission;
  3. Clearance from Kenya Revenue Authority;
  4. Clearance from Higher Education Loans Board (HELB);
  5. Clearance from a reputable Credit Reference Bureau.

NOTE

  1. Applicants for the position of Field Operations Officer/Fund Account Manager MUST indicate and show prove of their home constituency.
  2. Applications containing false information shall be disqualified.
  3. Details of academic and professional certificates not obtained by closure of the advert shall not be considered.
  4. Applicants should indicate daytime telephone number, postal address, current salary, names and contact address of 3 referees.
  5. Only shortlisted and successful candidates shall be contacted.
