Key Purpose Statement

Working closely with the Learning Development, Organisational Design and Talent Manager, the key responsibility of this role is to proactively and strategically attract, source, select, deploy and hire talent into the organisation whilst ensuring they develop a compelling employer brand to potential candidates. They will also be responsible for coordinating, driving, and leading some of the talent initiatives and programs in country.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement the talent acquisition and assessment components of the talent management processes, to enhance business performance.
  • Develop and implement candidate sourcing strategies and selection methodologies to deliver high quality hires.
  • Implements innovative, creative, and proactive recruitment sourcing opportunities, to develop high quality active and passive candidate pipelines.
  • Effectively builds and engages with talent communities through prescribed social media outlets.
  • Identifies and sources appropriate internal talent for current and future roles within the organisation.
  • Strategic partnership with clients’ in meeting their current and future talent needs.
  • Relationship management working closely with clients and specifically hiring managers in meeting their talent needs.
  • Managing the end to end recruitment process while ensuring pleasant candidate experiences.
  • Developing and implementing candidate sourcing strategies and selection methodologies to deliver high quality hires.
  • Ensures that key vacancies are filled within agreed timeframe.
  • Anticipatory resourcing  forecasting future talent needs and building talent pools for key roles to aid in reducing vacancy days and hire time.
  • Provide talent solutions, advice and guidance to HRBPs on talent acquisition. 
  • Report recruitment metrics for all recruitment projects.
  • Develops, networks and maintains successful relationships with external recruitment agencies.
  • Makes use of assessment information to enhance the quality of the selection process.
  • Provides talent acquisition and assessment process coaching to line managers to improve recruitment and assessment capability.
  • Ensures talent acquisition and assessment data integrity for successful functional excellence reviews and reporting requirements.
  • Is able to successfully position the employer value proposition both internally and externally to attract and retain the right talent.
  • Conducts regular follow up with recruiting managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • End to end coordination of the in country Graduate in Training Program.
  • Alongside the Talent Manager, drive and coordinate the Diversity and Inclusion agenda and activities for the company.

Skills, Experience & Education


  • Bachelor’s degree with post graduate HR qualification.
  • IHRM membership.


  • 5 or more years’ of experience with a proven track record as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks.
  • Hands on experience with full cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
