Duties and Responsibilities
Facilitate learning
Identify children with special needs and provide necessary interventions
Ability to identify, collect, develop, use and store learning resources
Organizing and facilitate play/learning activities to enable children cope with primary school life
Caring and nurturing spiritual, moral, social, mental and physical growth of children
Keeping and maintaining professional records (schemes of work, lesson plans, daily programme of activities etc)
Ensuring children cleanliness, welfare, health, nutrition, safety and security
Ensuring conducive learning environment
Meeting the learners needs
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this position, the candidate must:–
Must have KNEC Certificate or Diploma in ECDE
Must be registered by the TSC
Must have a Mean Grade of D+
Must have D+ in either English or Kiswahili
Must have a minimum experience of 3 years in teaching
Terms of Service: (3) Three Years Contract.
ECDE Caregivers earn a consolidated monthly income of Kshs. 15,000 per Month.
