Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve:
 Ensure efficiency and proper organization and management of hospitality services.
 Carrying out on-the-job training of staff
 Supervising staff
 Monitoring staff performance and ensuring conformity with the set standards
 Reviewing menus
 Carrying out training needs assessment yearly
 Ensuring use of standard operating procedures
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
 Bachelor’s degree in either Hotel and Catering Management or Hotel and Hospitality Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
 Certificate in computer applications
Salary Scale: The salary will be in Job Group “J” and other benefits attached to this position will be as determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
