St. Paul’s University (SPU) is a Christian ecumenical institution of higher learning based in Limuru, with other Campuses in Nairobi, Machakos and Nakuru, and works with over 10 affiliate colleges in Kenya, Uganda and Southern Sudan. The University was chartered in 2007, and has since continued to experience tremendous growth. It is our desire to match that growth with qualified staff to guarantee quality service. To this end, the university wishes to recruit committed Christians who are highly motivated, with demonstrable competencies to the following positions:
Reporting to The Head of Department, FOSS Business unit Faculty of Social Sciences
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
a)Ph.D in Counseling from a recognized university.
b)A Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience both at undergraduate and post graduate levels, three (3) of which must be at Lecturer level.
c)Must have supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion since last promotion.
d)A minimum of thirty two (32) publications points since last promotion, of which at least twenty four (24) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
e)One should show evidence of continuing research activity.
f)Registered with the relevant professional body.
