1.0 Role Identifier

Job Title: Outlets & Events Supervisor

Work Country Location Nairobi

2.0 Main Purpose

• Organizes and handles members private events within the Club
• Supervises and coordinates the subletting of the club outlets.

3.0 Accountabilities


  • Leases –organizes the signing and distribution of the leases and deals with any queries that arise therein from the tenant to WD Management or vice versa.
  • SLA – explain to the tenant the KPIs listed in the SLA and hold monthly meetings to discuss obtained scores and which areas need improvement.
  • Construction and Maintenance- Supervises the Maintenance team and the contractors and fully understand the works they will be required to do in an outlet as per tenants and WD instructions. Ensuring they have proper PPEs and safety measures for work being done.
  • Tenancy Sourcing- Sources for tenants, get samples, e.g for food and beverages, samples them and gives feedback to both our WD Management and the tenant. Arranges for dry runs where they come and showcases outlets to members and get feedback.
  • Visits the existing branches of the prospective outlets and give our WD Management feedback.
  • Communication – Passes accurate information, updates and prior notices to the WD Management and other parties involved with the outlets to ensure they are well informed.
  • Customer service- Ensures that all parties are happy and satisfied with our services WD by being prompt in my responses and feedback.
  • Health and Safety- ensuring the tenants follow the health and safety guidelines stipulated to eliminate risks of incidents and accidents.
  • Hygiene & Quality Control- ensure quality control of food handling, outlet premises, outlet staff to ensure they measure up to the set standards of the company.


  • Meeting with the members booking the event to get all details for the event, their information e.g date, time, their names for accountability purposes and ensure they are active members.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate each event and ensure all details and instructions are followed, the venue is well set up beforehand.
  • Ensure that our customer service experience is flawless from the staff in the outlet concerned.
  • Updates the events calendar and liaises with the sales team daily to get new events updates/ bookings.
  • Update the events revenue records.
  • Handle all enquiries and any complaints that may arise.
  • Provide feedback on any challenges and give suggestions as to how we can improve/ increase our events.
  • Ensures that all concerned parties are well versed about the event and that there is a guest list at the gates.
  • Getting feedback from events hosts through issuance of the thank you card notes after the event.

4.0     Key Skills/Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage or related degree.
  • 3 Years and above experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills.
  • HACCP / ISO 22000 is an added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills & ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people.
  • Computer and IT capability to deliver value to the business in an inclusive collaborative manner.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications e.g. MS word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Organizational & time management skills.
  • Achievement, results driven, and Sound judgment.
  • Must be fluent in English.
  • Fast thinker and proactive.
