FISCAL ANALYST OFFICER I JOB GROUP ‘M’ (NYACASB 7) ONE (1) POST
a. Duties and responsibilities
A suitable candidate for appointment to this position shall be considered against the following qualifications:
i. Monitoring expenditure and maintaining real time budget vote book;
ii. Preparing expenditure reports and analysis;
iii. Assisting in budget forecasting;
iv. Compiling departmental work plans;
v. Assisting in budget public participation process;
vi. Assist members and committees of the Assembly in the analysis of the budgets and other planning documents;
vii. Performing any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from to time.
(b) Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
i. A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance/Commerce (Accounting or Finance option)/Statistics/Mathematics from a recognized University;
ii. A certified public accountant (CPA K);
iii. Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Kenya’s public budgeting process including preparing procurement plans;
iv. Meets the requirements of Leadership and Integrity set out in Chapter six of Kenyan Constitution
