Cytonn Investments is an alternative investment manager, with a captive real estate development capability. Cytonn has a unique strategy of coupling two compelling demand areas – the lack of high yielding investment products and the lack of institutional grade real estate. We distribute high yielding instruments to attract funding from investors, and we deploy that funding to investment grade, well planned and comprehensive real estate developments that are largely pre-sold.

Real estate investments are made through our development affiliate, Cytonn Real Estate, where we currently have over Kshs. 82 billion (USD 820 mn) of projects under mandate across ten projects. In private equity, we invest in banking, FinTech, and hospitality.

To manage its rapid growth, the company is looking for highly motivated, dynamic, hardworking and self-driven team players to join the team in the Human Resource department.


  1. Ensure all staff files are up to date;
  2. Monitor the Leave System;
  3. Assist in the development of various HR manuals, processes, policies and their adjacent forms;
  4. Co-ordinate/Administrate the various recruitment tasks from advertising up until onboarding the successful candidates;
  5. Co-ordinate staff insurance records and act as a liaison with the insurance company / broker;
  6. Oversee staff, subsistence, travel and associated cost management; Communicate to staff on general staff matters;
  7. Enter data into the database or HR system for maintaining accurate records;
  8. Maintain and developing the filing system of personnel;
  9. Assist in administering staff benefits, programs, and events.
  10. Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
  11. Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
  12. Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  13. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
  14. Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
  15. Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
  16. Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
  17. Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
  18. Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  19. Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed
  20. Acting as a liaison between the project team and Administration/Finance Unit or any other support support department
  21. Contract Management
  22. Any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time


  1. Must have achieved at least a B+ of equivalent in high school;
  2. Graduated or will graduate with at least a second class upper honors from university;
  3. Demonstrate leadership qualities;
  4. Be committed to succeeding in a team context;
  5. Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills;
  6. High levels of energy and enthusiasm and ability to work long hours and under pressure to deliver timely solutions/deliverables.
