Cytonn Investments is an alternative investment manager, with a captive real estate development capability. Cytonn has a unique strategy of coupling two compelling demand areas – the lack of high yielding investment products and the lack of institutional grade real estate. We distribute high yielding instruments to attract funding from investors, and we deploy that funding to investment grade, well planned and comprehensive real estate developments that are largely pre-sold.

Real estate investments are made through our development affiliate, Cytonn Real Estate, where we currently have over Kshs. 82 billion (USD 820 mn) of projects under mandate across ten projects. In private equity, we invest in banking, FinTech, and hospitality.

The company is looking for highly motivated, dynamic, hardworking and self-driven team players to join the team in our Business Administration Department.The position will afford the individuals a unique opportunity to participate in both a strong incentive structure and a clear path to a fulfilling career in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

  1. General office administration
  2. Ensure information relevant to the business administration process is available and shared efficiently and effectively within the company
  3. Smooth running of events (programme, invitation and thank you notes, speakers preparation, review write ups towards the event if any)
  4. Reviewing & checking daily interactions, deal pipelines, contacts and production of Sales Team
  5. Advertising Sales positions, shortlisting and making arrangements for interviews
  6. Facilitating training of Sales Team
  7. Working with Distribution Management regarding concerns related to Sales Team
  8. Preparation of sales reports
  9. Managing Independent Financial Advisors
  10. Oversee all aspects of front office co-ordination – maintain a visitor’s register, handle and direct inquiries and ensuring the reception area is manned at all times
  11. Monitor inventory levels of office supplies on a regular basis and ensuring that the re-order process is done in a timely manner
  12. Tracking of any items/assets that are entering or leaving the building and ensuring they have the appropriate approvals and exit passes
  13. Managing insurance register and ensuring the renewals are done on time
  14. Managing company asset register and ensuring it’s always up to date
  15. Any other duties as shall be assigned from time to time

Requirements

  1. Must have achieved at least a B+ or equivalent in high school
  2. An undergraduate degree with a minimum 2nd Class, Upper Division
  3. Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow data entry/department standards
  4. Keen organization and problem solving skills, which support and enable sound decision making
  5. Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  6. Ability to carry out assigned tasks to completion with minimal directions
