About the Department

Deloitte’s Tax and Legal professionals provide both compliance and advisory services across a broad range of matters affecting businesses. This approach ensures clients’ most demanding challenges when operating in multiple jurisdictions are holistically addressed in a coordinated way, by subject matter and industry specialists, locally and abroad. Deloitte deploys the right team at the right time to address the needs of its clients, wherever they operate.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person to join our Tax and Legal team as a Transfer Pricing Consultant.

Main purpose of the job

The holder of this position will ensure that the client and Firm’s expectations are met by delivering high quality services and maintaining high utilisation levels.

Job Description

What you will do

  • Carry out analysis on intercompany pricing transactions;
  • Develop functional analysis questionnaires and perform functional analysis interviews;
  • Conduct benchmarking studies and economic analysis;
  • Perform industry analysis and financial analysis;
  • Prepare transfer pricing documentation;
  • Carry out transfer pricing risk and opportunity reviews;
  • Support revenue authority transfer pricing audits;
  • Execute transfer pricing projects to ensure client deliverables and deadlines are met; and
  • Assist in preparation of proposals.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least 3-4 years of transfer pricing experience in a similar role.
  • Good understanding of the Kenyan tax laws.
  • Good knowledge of international taxation principles.
