SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR

What we are looking for;

Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited is a subsidiary of Madison Group Limited and is a well-known provider of life assurance, group schemes, and pension administration in Kenya. The Group also provides through two other subsidiaries general insurance underwriting as well as fund management services.

The Company is recruiting for the position of switchboard operator and the job holder will be based at its Head Office in Madison House, Nairobi.

The Role

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls.
  • Taking and relaying messages to the relevant parties.
  • Providing telephone assistance to clients.
  • Updating company’s internal telephone directory.
  • Ensuring all company’s lines are working.
  • Organizing mail dispatch by courier services.
  • Receiving and distributing internal mails.
  • Warmly welcoming visitors at the reception while covering the front office for the Receptionist.
  • Attending to walk-in clients by providing them with the necessary information while covering the front office for the Receptionist.
  • Performing general administrative duties and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Diploma in (Business Management/Administration, Social Sciences or Secretarial Studies) a Degree will be an added advantage.
  • Considerable knowledge of Insurance Products.
  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
