Job Purpose

Responsible for driving business growth, sustainability, and profitability by researching market conditions, producing marketing materials, creating a marketing campaign, and managing sales pitches for prospective students.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop measurement tools for marketing research and intelligence. Manage projects from inception through presentations, supporting roll out of customized surveys/ discussion guides/ screeners, analyzing data, interpreting results, and providing actionable insights.
  • Planning and executing digital marketing campaigns and maintain a constant supply of content for the university’s website.
  • Develop customer survey tools, roll out, and analysis of results
  • Monitor customer feedback to improve customer experience across every touch point, develop innovative ideas and action plans to help in enhancing customer service
  • Study the market to identify customer needs, target groups and demographic segments, position of the University in the market, effectiveness of product delivery channels
  • Provide key input in the design of the university’s brand manual
  • Organize college fairs, tours, and other student attraction programs on-campus.
  • Developing, implementing, and managing marketing strategies, campaigns and content that promote the University, its products, and services, in the digital space/ online.
  • Develop a website traffic plan for continuous updates and reviews using web tracking tools to check effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with graphic designer to create digital designs, concepts, and sample layouts. Monitor competitor’s behavior and analyze customer needs through digital interaction surveys and analysis.
  • Support development and implementation of marketing, advertising, publicity campaigns and business development strategies.
  • Create tools and materials to deliver on the marketing and business development strategy e.g. proposals, pitches, videos, letters, posters, brochures
  • Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns and assess against departmental goals.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Academic and Professional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing
  • Diploma or equivalent in digital marketing
  • Relevant professional qualification
  • Member of a professional body in good standing.
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience.
  • Experience in digital marketing will be an added advantage.
