The ideal candidate will be accountable for ensuring safe, secure, efficient, and economic handling of Kenya Airways and customer airline ramp services and flights in compliance with the relevant industry regulatory and legislative requirements, company procedures and regulatory authorities.
Supervise and work closely with the MAS East Africa Chief Inspector to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance for all maintenance on MAS EA assigned aircraft.

Planning and approving targets, budgetary guidelines and use of resources for the development and implementation of Aviation Safety & Security programmes;
To develop, implement, maintain and constantly improve strategies and processes to ensure that all aviation activities will achieve the highest level of safety performance, while meeting both national and international standards.
Performs pilot duties, including filing flight plans, obtaining weather data and interpreting the information for flights, completing aircraft weight and balances for flights, loading and unloading passenger luggage and cargo.
To provide air services in support of Management, Engineering & Security Departments as a Platform for enhancing pipeline system surveillance and prompt emergency response.
Implement a performance-based approach to regional planning and implementation of the Aviation System Block Upgrades (ASBUs) in close coordination with other air navigation fields within the ICAO Secretariat.
