The position of Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning officer will support the implementation of CIFOR’s Planning, Monitoring and Learning strategy with a focus on implementing systematic monitoring systems at project and portfolio level.
The Armed and Security Forces (FAS) Programme Adviser assists the FAS Delegate in implementing the FAS programme, including planning, carrying out, assessing and following up FAS activities.
Demonstrable understanding , and practical experience of, financial and management accounting principles, processes, systems and internal controls, preferably in a not-for-profit organization.
Coordinate with KRCS Regions & Branches, communities and other stakeholders in order to develop a strategic disaster management plan and budget aligned to the Society’s strategic objectives, Red Cross Movement policies and strategies as well as Government policies and strategies.
This role is responsible for providing Technical & Strategic Leadership in the oversight, administration and management of high-quality humanitarian relief and integrated community development programmes: through developing capacities in resource mobilization, programme design and implementation, while incorporating approaches that contribute to the achievement of the society’s mission and vision with a view to maximize programme impact.
The primary responsibility of this position will be to plan, organize, and administer Public Health Emergency Preparedness response and early recovery activities, including pre-emergency planning, emergency response activities, and post-emergency functions.
This role is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic direction in the design, implementation and evaluation of high impact/quality programmes in; Food security and alternative livelihood, Value-chain and marketing strategies of small holder agricultural produce, Environmental management and restoration and coordination of DRM programmes special projects (PVE, Operational Research, Pilots, Road safety etc).
This position supports efficient preparedness to disaster response by ensuring effective coordination of KRCS capacity countrywide before during and after Disaster emergencies. The incumbent is responsible for effective operations of the KRCS Emergency Operations Centre as the National focal point for all KRCS Disaster Operations.
To manage and maintain computer systems and applications in order to successfully support World Vision Kenya’s sponsorship operations.
Planning, coordination and implementing Financial, HR and Administrative activities, policies & guidelines in the project, according to legal obligations and MSF protocol, standards and procedures.
