The Project Manager will develop and lead a project-focused team working towards marine spatial planning and fisheries management goals within the region, with focus on Kenya, Tanzania, Seychelles and Mauritius.
The position provides the overall programmatic coordination of multiple projects including tracking resources, timeframes and budgets for these projects (schedule and risk management); research and report writing; maintaining documentation; and coordinating meetings and workshops.
You will support the day to day implementation of project interventions and be responsible for the realization of project deliverables within your area of operation.
The role is responsible for providing strategic leadership and management in all financial; staffing and project implementation matters relating to World Concern projects in Tana River County.
Ensure projects and programmes submit annual and quarterly activity and procurement plans in accordance with budgets and donor procurement rules and regulations.
The community child Protection and GBV volunteers will be based in the wards under Dadaab sub-county and will be in charge of case identification, referral and initial registration of cases of abuse and violence against boys, girls, men and women in the local communities.
The position will provide administrative support and will be the focal point for coordination of research, grants, and capacity development/consultancy within the Medical College in Kenya.
The PM will establish an in-country presence and close working relationship with Kenya’s NTD teams, will spearhead coordination with all stakeholders and will maintain a strong understanding of all moving pieces within the project, managing and tracking tasks against timelines.
