The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring overall security of The Nairobi Hospital and Outpatient Centres, clients, and personnel
The successful candidate will be responsible in assessing, resolving and maintaining the Hospital’s applications, infrastructure and network security requirements in order to ensure alignment of IT security with business security needs including reviewing and assessing the Hospital’s applications.
The primary job function of the Security Officer is theft prevention, recording daily events and illegal activity, and protecting the safety of others.
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment and access points; permitting entry.
The position will implement proactive risk management processes in line with Business Security initiatives and liaise with Chief Security Officer for technical advice on Projects and emerging threats
The incumbent will plan, manage and conduct organizational assessment, provide guidance, training, mentoring, and support on information security issues and topics to project beneficiaries.
The position will build a strategic privacy program that defines, develops, maintains and implements policies and processes that enable consistent, effective privacy practices which minimize risk and ensure the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI), paper and/or electronic, across all media types. Ensures privacy forms, policies, standards, and procedures are up to date.
The position will lead implementation of recommendations based on best practice on large infrastructure, and develop procedure to minimize service impact.
