The position will maintain up-to-date database records of suppliers details including addresses, telephone contracts, opening hours, goods offered, prices and time required between order and delivery
The position will facilitate tender opening process and prepare internal memo to invite members of technical committee
The position will maintain and archive documents and records of the procurement and disposal activities for the required period
The position will implement Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015, Regulation 2020 and ensuring adherence to the laid down Procedures and policies;
The position will provide administrative guidelines on implementation of Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015, Regulation 2020 and ensuring adherence to the laid down Procedures and policies;
The position will be responsible for Planning and coordination of Supply Chain Management activities in such areas as procurement, warehousing, distribution, fleet management, disposal of stores and equipment, market surveys and research, procurement planning and inventory and stock control.
Procurement Officer is responsible for assisting in the effective implementation of the functions of procurement and Logistical services and promoting a collaborative, client-focused, quality, and result-oriented approach in the Procurement Unit.
The position will develop strong relationships with the product lines and in co-operation with the delivery management teams, advise on competency requirements. Coordinate consultants across EMEA by establishing a community.
The incumbent will innovate and design of Supply Chain Management strategies and translating them into policies.
