About the role:

BURN is looking for a highly analytical Market Research Project & Insights Officer – Electric to execute research projects, field activities, data analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate must possess technical knowledge and experience in developing, planning, and executing quantitative and qualitative research methodologies in all product life cycle stages, from product ideation to commercialization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute project management tasks and deliver excellent client service, ensuring projects are carried out cost optimally, to a high standard, and within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of projects and overall handling of project logistics, including upload and transference of data collected to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage consultants/agencies contracted for research purposes in expansion markets, including signed contracts, payment processes, and fulfillment of duties.
  • Documentation of relevant contracts and payout plans
  • Support and guide in the set-up of projects in line with the markets of interest; This includes tool translations, route plans, and sample areas.
  • Prepare project cost estimates and budgets, disburse funds for field operations, and hand-in reconciliations.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Experience working in climate change, market research, and other relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
  • Extensive experience in study design and execution, data management, analysis, and data quality
  • Self-driven and able to ideate and scope own deliverables.
  • Piloting questionnaires and recommending improvements/build-ups
  • Data Quality Checks
  • Quantitative and Qualitative Data Collection
  • Proficiency in Excel and managing databases.
  • Field Team Management-Essential
  • Data cleaning and analysis
  • Project Planning
  • Develop standardized contract documents and consent forms.
