Job Description.

Position Summary.

The Data Operations Coordinator will report to the Manager, Data Operations. The Data Operations Coordinator will support the Data Operations team and will play an integral role in managing client data in the Assent Platform. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. 

  • Manage the Data Services requests queue, including but not limited to ticket flow and ticket details; 
  • Proactively communicate issues and findings with Assent stakeholders 
  • Perform basic data analysis on client data requests; 
  • Maintain the Service Level Agreements and Targets; 
  • Assist with transformation, and adaptation of data to meet best practices; 
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and accuracy of Data and providing system feedback  to stakeholders; 
  • Update customer data using internal tools and systems
  • Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent Compliance.

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, primarily in English, able to summarize information clearly and concisely; 
  • Knowledge of German Language will be considered an added advantage:
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Higher diploma from a recognized learning institution;
  • At least 1 year related work experience; 
  • Self-starter, able to adhere to assigned  deadlines and prioritize work independently; 
  • Problem-solver who is a fast learner, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile; 
  • Ability to manage time very efficiently and juggle multiple priorities at one time – able  to find avenues for additional productivity;
  • You are highly adaptable, flexible and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business  environment, able to recognize and adapt to cultural differences; 
  • You are naturally curious about technology and how things work; 
  • You are a critical thinker and can suggest, implement, and support efficient and  effective processes; 
  • You are a team player with good organizational skills, able to plan, prioritize and complete daily tasks efficiently and effectively
  • You have grit- you are conscientious, will always work towards providing solutions over  excuses, and are dedicated to achieving excellence and driving results; 
  • You are proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and Google Applications and other  Office Productivity tools, able to leverage functions and tools across the board to promote team cohesion and efficiency/productivity. 
  • Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) and basic R or Python knowledge to perform analysis and manipulate data. Able to understand data manipulation requests and accurately transform them into working SQL queries.
  • Ability to debug, edit and constantly improve predefined queries and codes for data analysis and manipulation with regard to business needs.
  • Advanced Excel skills – with an understanding of how to use the various formulas, functions and shortcuts.
  • Basic understanding of data management and analysis principles with a broad understanding of how Databases work both in physical and cloud environments.
