Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st level of operational support across the business and externally in various HR Services including compliance, leave of absence, information management, on boarding/Exit, internal transfers, benefits and payroll, Staff medical.
- Analysis and reporting of the HR help desk function for decision making and improvement on service delivery.
- Generating & replacing staff Identification Badges
- Providing support to various sections in HR with communication and branding of information going out to staff.
- Responsible for the provision of HR Administration services to support relevant initiatives.
- Responsible for identifying and resolving Employees issues and challenges daily.
- Support in creating offer letters for all categories of employees including new hires, fixed-term contracts, promotions, lateral moves, internship, job rotations, relocation, confirmation memos, among others.
- Support in carrying out HR System updates for all contractual changes (location, manager, grade)
- Support employees by preparing Visa letters to facilitate visa applications.
- Preparation of employee referral letters for all exit employees
- Updating, verifying, and endorsing all documented correspondence coming into HR Operations for filing in the personnel files / portal
- Up to date staff record maintenance on both Oracle HR system and staff personal files.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and Higher National Diploma in HRM and /or CHRP-K
- A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ relevant experience.
- Strong administrative skills with a flair for technological enhancements
- Experience with HR information Systems and standard software
- Good working knowledge of HR practices and labor legislation.
- The ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
