Chai Trading Company Limited (CTCL) is a wholly owned subsidiary Company of Kenya Tea Development Agency (Holdings) Ltd based in Mombasa and a market leader in freight management, warehousing, tea trading and logistics.  We are looking for suitable dynamic and highly talented individuals to join our management team in the following exciting and challenging positions at Chai Logistics Centre (CLC) – Nairobi.Reporting to Head of Terminal, the job holder will responsible for providing overall support and coordination of the network infrastructure and services.Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Ensuring sound maintenance of network system as per set standards
2. Controlling the accessibility of the data in the network
3. Providing support services to network users as and when required
4. Monitoring and reporting any major malfunction of the network system
5. Ensuring safe custody of equipment and network systems
6. Participating in network planning, design, development, deployment, and modification.
7. Performing preventive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime
8. Enforcing of set policies regarding network usage and security
9. Evaluating and  identifying   effectiveness  of  current  architecture,  business  security  issues, loopholes and escalate for remedial action
10. Monitor and analyze existing Intrusion Detection Systems to identify security issues and recommend areas of update
11. Identifying potential threats, weaknesses and implement mitigation protocols for the data center.
12. Ensuring the integrity and protection of networks, systems, and applications by technical enforcement of organizational security policies.
13. Carrying out systems backup.
14. Preparing incidents  reports  and  maintaining  current  knowledge  base  of  relevant  scenarios in the security field
15. Perform any other relevant duties that may be assigned by the supervisor

 Knowledge and Skills Required:

The Job holder must possess the following;

• Bachelor of Science, ICT or its equivalent
• Minimum of four (4) years in a Terminal operating system (TOS) freight business entity.
• Related certification in Information and Community Technology from accredited institutions
• Must demonstrate high integrity and ethical practice
• Must demonstrate ability to execute work assigned with minimum supervision
• Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams
• Must demonstrate ability to multitask.
• Should have ability to solve problems by applying relevant knowledge
• Must have the ability to communicate in both written and oral communication
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be a flexible person, who is willing to learn and able to work flexible hours to achieve goals
• Must be able to deliver targets, and a good planner who pays attention to detail
• Must have knowledge in use of MS office packages.
