TRANSPORT OFFICER – JOB GRADE LVSWWDA 6 – REF: LVSWWDA/TO/2023/08 (1 POST)

This will be the entry and training grade for degree holders into this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision of a senior officer.

Job Specification

The duties and responsibilities at this level will entail assisting in: –

• Ensuring vehicles are insured;
• Managing office transport system.
• Generating monthly / quarterly reports on service and maintenance of vehicles;
• Raise requisitions for transport administration, insurance and maintenance of vehicles;
• Arrange for fuel cards and report on the same;
• Compile and analyze bills for transport and ensure bill settlement on time;
• Ensure effective filling of documents and records management on performance of the section.
• Generating reports on operations, maintenance and utilization of transport system.

Person Specification

 For appointment to this grade a candidate must have/be –

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Sciences or any relevant field;
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications;
