Job Purpose Statement
The purpose of the role is to deliver profitable business growth through remittances fromthe Diaspora by providing cost effective ways of sending money to Kenya. Additionally, the holder will actively initiate strategic business partnerships that will lead to long termbusiness ties with Kenyans abroad. The holder will also work to provide an environment for remittance partners that will spur their growth which will also contribute to growth of the bank’s liabilities book and remittance volumes.
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, business or finance related field
Professional:
- Professional qualification in Compliance and AML training.
- Desired work experience: 6 years proven working experience in a banking environment, with at least 3 years’ experience in remittance services and money transfer digital solutions.

- Extensive knowledge of business industry trends and practices and a good understanding of legislation related to financial services and channel delivery.
- Excellent Problem analysis and solving skills with strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as manage multiple priorities in quick time frames.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to deal professionally, confidently and effectively with staff at all levels, internally and externally
