About the career opportunity:

Working closely with the product team,Customers and partners.You will help create and improve the B2B and B2C user experience for mobile and web applications across the Sendy product portfolio. To craft the ideal user experience, you will be required to talk to our users to understand their problems & context and leverage these insights to build experiences and interfaces that delight the customer. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Carry out research on internal and external users to understand current user experience and pain points.
  • Determine information architecture.
  • Create user flows, prototype tests in line with user requirements.
  • Conduct concept testing and usability testing.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Identify and constantly engage with key stakeholders throughout design projects.
  • Delight users with intuitive and beautiful digital experiences.
  • Take concepts from the inception to market-ready.
  • Influence cross-functional product teams and the organization to achieve solutions that are right for our customers and adhere to the product vision (MLP).
  • Design audits of existing products to identify gaps and
  • Any other duties assigned to you by your Supervisor.

We know you are the best because you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or Graphic Design or any other related field.
  • Certification in Interaction Design would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in human centered design or user experience design in a technology environment.
  • Building web/mobile products with thousands or millions of active users.
  • Working with in multi-functional teams (product, business, engineering, etc) to identify problems and build solutions.
  • Building products from ideation to launch.
  • Conducting discovery and validation research with users across a wide demographic spectrum.
  • Sound ability and understanding of the design process – design thinking
  • Knowledge of software development.
  • Strong knowledge of key design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
  • Strong creative thinking.
  • Personal motivation and drive exhibited through commitment to hard work, continuous improvement and achievement of goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Clear communicator.
