To promote Grants financial stewardship, accountability, reliability and accuracy of financial reports as well as implement financial policies. The role is required to safeguard assets and ensures compliance to donor regulations.
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling accounting ledgers and balance sheets in accordance with Ankole Grill Policies, Procedures and Standards laid out by Management to ensure customer satisfaction.
Administering the company’s payroll and associated statutory requirements on time (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF, leave)
Confirming the accuracy and completeness of accounts receivables (invoicing, receipting, banking and reconciliations) and reporting on the same as appropriate before payment
Reconcile project accounting and provide back-up documentation of all financial transactions into monthly accounting package to home office.
