This role is responsible for maintaining petty cash, fixed asset register and store management.
Preparation and maintance of General Ledger accounts
Data capturing and maintain primary records such as cashbooks, ledgers, vote books, registers;
Assist the officer in charge in safe custody of accountable documents and maintenance of the assets register at the office.
The Accounts Assistant will ensure members accounts are accurately updated, accurate and timely filing of the statutory deductions.
Timely and accurate filing of the statutory deductions
To manage daily financial management services and ensure compliance with Government policy and International Financial Reporting Standards.
The position holder will provide support to the finance department of the company under the supervision of the Finance Manager.
Ensure that all expense claims are assessed, approved, and paid as per company policy and timelines
Maintain ledger books, Assets register and depreciation schedules for assets.
