KIM is recruiting a Communications Intern to develop the skills of supporting the implementation of program communications plan and related communications tools.
The Communication Intern role is key in ensuring that staff, partners and other stakeholders know about and are proud of AKF work in Kenya.
Assist in Editing articles for our publications such as the Yearbook, School magazines, Newsletters, and Bulletin.
The intern will contribute to projects on a range of topics and will learn how to conduct media monitoring for African countries, pitch HRW press releases and reports, liaise with press, and organize different meetings and events.
Work with SOS Children’s Villages Kenya facilities staff to supply factual stories, photographs and video to local, national and international media and other outlets in a timely, proactive and professional manner.
The Communications Intern will assist in the implementation of Sanergy’s communications strategy, and especially to produce photography and videography content.
Support the Marketing department with communication activities across the organization which includes media relations, digital support, corporate publications and newsletters, internal communication, media management, monitoring media coverage and maintaining up to date media database.
Create and manage dedicated accounts/pages on social media (Facebook, Twitter) for the Kenya Country Office, in line with TdH-NL’s house style
