This position is located in Nairobi, Kenya, under the overall responsibility of the Director, Country Office Dar es Salaam and under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager of the FAIRWAY project in Africa.
Reporting to Associate Director based in Kenya and Finance Manager in Uganda, the Finance and Administrative Assistant will support the finance function and manage smooth running of the Nairobi office.
S/he will develop procedures, which promote financial discipline to meet organizational goals as well as maintaining an efficient document retrieval system.
S/he is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations providing support to Heifer team: Project Manager, Business Officer, Communication Officer, Livestock officers and Finance in Kisumu and Nairobi respectively and the project by maintaining systems of accountability, establishing and maintaining communications between program offices as well as partners and performing basic administrative tasks as assigned.

The Finance & Administrative Assistant is the first contact point to visitors, consultants, and partners. S/he is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations providing support to Heifer team: Project Manager, Business Officer, Communication Officer, Livestock officers and Finance in Kisumu.
The Finance and Administration Associate is responsible for supporting program execution and overall administration at the Stanford Seed East Africa office.
The Finance and Administration Assistant will provide support across the above-mentioned projects depending on the needs.
