To manage Human Resource Functions in the hospital through formulation, implementation, education, monitoring, reporting and custody of policies, procedures, documents and best practices.
Refining policies and processes for the complete HR function including recruitment, performance management, payroll management, HR data management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employer branding, and employee engagement.
Ensuring smooth operations of the human resource functions as directed by the County Public Service Board.
Ensure that resolutions and action points from Board meetings are circulated to affected County ministries or individuals within the stipulated time frame.
Responsibility for a variety of HR Services queries and ensure to solve them in a timely and professional manner, involving other members of the HR Team where necessary.
Develop proposals and provide technical guidance on Human Resource policies and strategies for the University within the framework of Industrial and Labor Laws of Kenya as well as international Human Resource Management principles.
Coordinating human resource services in the department in such areas as appointment, promotion, payroll management; discipline, pensions, establishment and complement control.
Build key relationships within the business and develop an in-depth knowledge of the business by understanding its financial position, short, midrange and long-term plans and the culture being driven.
She/he shall be responsible for coordinating the implementation of Company policies, coordination of Human Resources and Administration functions, and ensuring all staff have a conducive working environment for personal career growth.
