SI is seeking a full-time Local Human Resources and Recruitment Specialist to support human resources tasks for local field office staff, as well as conduct full-cycle recruitment for short-term consultant and long-term employee positions for the project. The position will be full-time over the duration of the project, and will be based in Nairobi.
An officer at this level will be responsible to the County Director of Human Resource Management in Planning, Organizing, Administration and Control of the activities in Human Resource units while performing the following specific duties and responsibilities.
An officer at this level will be deployed at the payroll unit within the county department in-charge of public service and shall be responsible to the Assistant Director of Human Resource Management in performing the following specific duties and responsibilities:

Under the overall guidance and direction of CFK, the HR consultant/firm will contribute to the development of a comprehensive HR manual and strategy.
Work with Head, ER Kenya & EA and HHR East Africa to agree on the grievance representative/s to review/ investigate and process the grievances.
Take the lead in HR key tasks and connect HR strategies to business requirements.
Accomplish human resource objectives by supporting the various HR functions.
As part of institutional strengthening, we seek to hire the services of an experienced HR consultant to revise the HR Policy following discussion with board, management, staff and grassroots women leaders.
