The Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Project seeks to establish a sustainable support structure for the employment of marginalised youth in micro-enterprises in Machakos and Siaya.
Reporting to the Director, the position holder will be based in Dagoretti, Nairobi and will be responsible for mobilizing and coordinating implementation partner level work, reporting, financial and programme Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning of the projects.
Under the supervision of the Project Coordinator, the post holder (WASH Officer) will be in charge of managing and overseeing the water infrastructure component of the project. He/she will supervise construction related to all water and sanitation facilities (institutional latrines, household latrines, water pans, boreholes, rehabiliatation of springs/shallow wells etc.)
The purpose of this position is to work directly with farmers and Farmer Business Groups on a day to day basis on all the activities of the project on “Strengthening the competitiveness of the cassava value chain in Kenya (KF1)”.
